Information about the Association of Friends of Louis Massignon


The Association was founded after the death of Louis Massignon in 1962 in Paris by his son, Daniel Massignon, and a group of associates and friends. It continues to accept members and promote research and publication of Massignon's writings and lectures. sponsor conferences, and publish a 60 page Bulletin that is distributed to members twice a year.

Invitation to membership in L'Association des Amis de Louis Massignon/Paris

An invitation to those who are comfortable reading French to become Associate or Active members of the Association of the Friends of Louis Massignon. You will receive the Bulletin des Amis de Louis Massignon which includes relevant studies about Louis Massignon's vision or articles relating to it, writings by Louis Massignon, (many of which are unpublished), that concern current events, book reviews and reports from the activities, and calendars of events sponsored by the Association, such as the Muslim/Christian pilgrimmage at the Chapel of the Seven Sleepers held each year in Brittany, France.
